It was then a single story thatched building. In 1912, it was re &#8211; built as the pub we know now. Over the years, it has been adapted and improved, now offering\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/duntonbassettarms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accommodation and a fine restaurant and pub<\/a>. Still supporting the local community and still providing ales and music.<\/p><p>It\u2019s a Freehouse &#8211; so not tied to anybody and I own it. Although I feel as if I\u2019m just a custodian of of 300 years of previous landlords. And I love it. Times are difficult at the mo, bit after 300 years in this lovely village &#8211; I\u2019m sure we are going nowhere. Thank you for all your support.
